I tell ya; everyone seems to have a fucking opinion these days… LMAO… you gotta love the hippocracy.

Personally I enjoy hearing opinions from people who have life experience and facts behind what they are saying, by facts I mean real facts that said person has been able to prove to themselves. The main problem is that the education system is flawed, it’s just another business and control mechanism. The fact is that 50% of what any given person thinks they know is false, they might think what they are saying is true but only because they are regurgitating something they were told without thinking, or researching, for themselves. Since most people are clearly not that interested in using their brains we are left with all these opinions flying out of peoples mouths that are utter shit.

When it comes to my opinions I can only say that I do not formulate them without having given them plenty of thought, usually for many years, and had life experiences and facts to prove or disprove how I am thinking. The main reasons I even bother to write them down at this website is for my own personal records, so I can check back in a few years and see how my opinions have evolved, and in the hopes that I may actually connect via the comments with others who have similar opinions. Constructive comments may help my opinions evolve and thoughtless comments will cement them and allow me to lash out my humouros attacks… LOL.

If you read anything at this website and think that I am not laughing about it all then you are wrong so keep that in mind if I have hit a topic that you are all weirdo about. It’s all in good fun and at the end of the day who has the right to decide what is right and wrong anyway?

Nationalism is a touch illogical to me and almost as bad as Religion, I can’t say that I believe any hardcore nationalist could have a high IQ, a.k.a. given it much thought before committing. As a child raised in the UK I was implanted with that UK nationalism and fuck the French, we kicked their ass in the war etc. After growing up though and actually thinking about it I can’t find any reason to hate all French people because of previous wars that I had no part in. I highly doubt they had anything to do with anything other than power struggles between the elite and that none of the regular people wanted anything to do with it, only in those days the people were forced in to fighting without choice unlike the “political/tv/media fake idea of choice way” that people get brainwashed these days.

The only true divides that I see on our planet are between the masses (regular human beings) and the elite (Illuminati, Governments, Banker Families etc). Any other lines that have been drawn are just for the elite to stake their claims about which bit they will manipulate, abuse and tax the shit out of. Divide and conquer tactics on the masses that doesn’t stop at country borders but extends through to religions, color of skin/race etc. So when it comes to Nationalists I can only say “Snap out of it”, anything or any role that the country you live in has done or played a part in historically was NOT your doing. With regards to more recent times; if you have fought in any of the Wars then clearly you have played a part in being a minion for the elite, if you want to be a Nationalist I can at least understand that you have been thoroughly brainwashed and have personal reasons to be one. Others that run about making statements about things that the history books claim your country was responsible for, what are you on about?, you had no role in it, IT WASN’T YOU. An example I have heard plenty of times would be, if you are a Greek, coming out and saying “We created democracy”…. Emmm, let’s re-word shall we, many generations ago the human beings residing in the region named Greece started Democracy and you, even if you are Greek, had NOTHING to do with it and played NO role in it. Stop clinging on to strands of claim for things that you are not responsible for and start focusing on what you can be responsible for in this lifetime, what have YOU done?. We are approaching a very dangerous time where the elite are getting more and more control over the masses, passing laws and regulations that are only beneficial to them. I don’t think we need to worry and borders, religion, skin color/race etc. We need to worry about freedom and that Democracy that was mentioned in this article and is now almost non-existent.

As a final note; I am not saying that we should not be proud of our ancestors accomplishments, if it truly was someone in your family bloodline that played a significant role for whichever thing, and if it was truly an accomplishment. I am also not saying that we should not be proud of people in our region or how beautiful the nature is in our area .. but let’s leave it at that!

Mixing is just as simple as everything else you have done so far but much more fun. Although there are more complicated rhythm’s out there, electronic music is based on the 4/4 beat structure. You can think of it as a puzzle only easier because each piece has more than one option as to where it can fit. Before we get started here is a picture I made to help you understand the 4/4 beat just in case you don’t already.

As you can see it is very simple to understand and with electronic music you will find that no sounds will be added or removed on anything less than a 32 beat loop. Most of the time during the main part of a track you will find that nothing major will change for 64 beats. This means that if you are new to mixing you may as well just start your mixes at the first beat of a 64 loop and you will find that as sounds leave from one track they are being presented in the other, albeit the bass line, a synth, or percussion. Determining the start of a 64 beat loop is something that I can just feel but if you need to count until you have that feeling then go for it. Once a track has had it’s breakdown in the middle and started off again, that first beat will be the first beat in a 64 beat loop, so you could start the track then or 64 beats later, or 64 beats later. If you are mixing later on in the track then a more common addition or subtraction of sounds will occur every 32 beats so you can also start your next track at any of the first beats in a 32 beat loop. There are exceptions and this is very general but I will get in more depth in later lessons. In this next image I am just showing you what I just said in image form, Track B could be started at any of the green markers as Track A is playing.

If you go to the very first beat of your track in Traktor and set a 32 beat loop, then jump through the track in 32 beat jumps using the available controls, you will see exactly what I mean and why your mixes will sound better when they smoothly fit together like a puzzle. Later on we can discuss some trickery but for starters you will find your mixes sound great by following these simple rules.

Now that you have processed your files through Platinum Notes and Mixed in Key you should have a Camelot wheel reference added to the beginning of each of your file names and all the levels of your tracks should be regulated so that you don’t need to use the auto-gain in Traktor Pro 2. The next step is to make sure that your tracks are beat-matched perfectly. This will be the final stage of preparation for your files before we can move on to actually mixing. It is explained in the video so I don’t need to harp on about it here, this task can get extremely boring if you let too many tracks build up so go through all your file preparation as and when you get new tracks. It will be much easier that way. I recently decided to re-create all my tracks to WAV format after comparing to MP3-320 and understanding a slightly better low-end, this has left me with 5000 tracks to re-beatgrid :O .. yes, it sucks but I really don’t need to do them all and have just done a few hundred of my latest additions and will do the rest as and when I need/want them. Once you are familiar with this simple beatgriding process it can even be done on the fly if you really wanted to.

Note* I have a few thousand watts in my living room and in this video it sounds like it was too loud for the laptop mic. I will have to re-create the video at a later date but for now it serves it’s purpose.
